Born in Montreal and creatively forged through a decade in Brooklyn and five years in Los Angeles, Megadon is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges music, filmmaking, television production, and cultural preservation.
Growing up, he was exposed to music and visual culture from an early age. His mother, originally from New York, introduced him to hip hop through music television and the culture that shaped her community. His father owned a nightclub in Montreal and regularly screened music videos and live performances from internationally recognized artists.
Hip hop became more than entertainment. It became a calling.
Driven by a desire to preserve and contribute to the culture that inspired him, Megadon immersed himself in every aspect of the craft. As an emcee, producer, director, editor, cinematographer, and creative entrepreneur, he has spent more than two decades building an independent career rooted in authenticity, artistic growth, and cultural contribution.
His music combines soulful production, boom bap foundations, and thoughtful lyricism inspired by pioneers such as Rakim, KRS-One, and the Wu-Tang Clan.
As a filmmaker, he has worked with Raekwon, DJ Premier, Joey Bada$$, Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine, Masta Killa, Kool G Rap, Kool Keith, NEMS, and many others. His work has been screened at film festivals, featured on television, and distributed internationally through digital and broadcast platforms.
Whether producing music, directing visuals, documenting culture, or preserving history, Megadon remains committed to creating meaningful work that inspires, educates, and endures.
